My name is Faith Meckley, and I am a 21-year-old Ithaca College journalism student who decided to take time off from school to live in a van, travel across the country, and find the good things in life. In 2014, I walked 1,800 miles between New Mexico and Pennsylvania as a part of the Great March for Climate Action, and my life has never been the same since. As a result of that experience, I picked up a minor in outdoor adventure pursuits, became a vegan, solidified a lifelong commitment as a climate activist, and developed a restless and wandering soul.

While traveling across the United States in my van from June 2016 to February 2017, I met my husband, Alex Televantos. Alex is from Australia, and we’ll be traveling to Australia together in May with plans to be there for several years.

Due to our move to Australia, we sold my van, Hayduke. To follow Hayduke’s adventures with his new owner, subscribe to Kris Bosela’s blog: https://communitydrivensite.wordpress.com/
